It is a quill-mounted unit that may be used for either end of shaft or through-shaft designs. The Model CBA is designed to be compatible and complementary to our dry units. It is designed for extremely high cycle rates, and for those applications requiring a high degree of stopping accuracy. The model CBH is ideal for turret punch press conversions. Features include: Low activation volumes allow cycle rates in excess of 300 cpm. Clutch torque capacities ranging from 12,000 to 70,000 pound-inches. Brake torque capacities ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 pound-inches. Optional high cyclic rate actuation valving. Optional combination cooling/actuation hydraulic power units. Unique friction plate grooving patterns, as well as the forced oil cooling feature allow the Model HBA brake to dissipate the heat generated by stopping the high energy loads common to today's heavy duty industrial equipment. The Model HBS brake is identical to the Model HBA brake, except the unit is designed to be spring-set. Pneumatic or hydraulic actuation. Brake torque capacities range from 45,000 to 1,035,000 pound-inches. WICHITA CCB - Combination Clutch/Brake unit For start/stop cyclic applications. The CCB consists of an air applied clutch and a spring applied / air release brake combined in one unit. Provides compact mounting in cyclic applications, A single airtube actuates both the single plate clutch and the single plate brake. Three types of drive plate mountings available to suit various cyclic applications. Fixing to the shaft may be with keyway or shrink disc mounting.
